<b>Can't wait to return:</b> "Castle" is a bit misleading. There is a ruined castle in the grounds but the hotel buildings comprise a large country house, a beautifully restored coach house and a modern hotel. Please don't let that put you off, this is a super hotel. Everything was of a high standard, the welcome, the lovely staff, the spacious room, the food and the lovely setting. I enjoyed the championship golf course and we both loved the excellent spa manned by Danna and Anna. We both had a massage and a seaweed bath. No hesitation in recommending this hidden gem.

<b>Spa getaway:</b> Stayed here with my two sisters for a girly night away. Check in was fast, and the receptionist was very friendly and efficient. We booked a single and double room. Pleasantly surprised to see a bath in the room, something I don’t see quite often in hotels anymore. Beds comfy, nothing to complain about, except there was no phone in the room. This was a bit of a nuisance as I had to change our dinner reservations to a later time, and when I called from my mobile several times there was no answer; I had to pop down to reception. Not a big deal but I was in my pjs getting ready and had to change quick to run down. Manager met with us and greeted us as we arrived into the bar for some dinner, very friendly..in fact, all the staff were exceptionally friendly. We had a few cocktails (delicious) and a three course meal. Presentation and taste was 👌 Breakfast in the morning was very good also. We used the spa facilities and got a facial which was superb. Overall I would recommend this hotel, just a short 10 min drive into Sligo town.

<b>Peaceful area minutes from Sligo with large older rooms:</b> Pros: large rooms, good selection for breakfast including vegetarian and vegan options, easy drive to Sligo, peaceful grounds for passing the time. Cons: thin room walls (if your neighbor is talking or watching TV you can definitely hear them), older decor if that matters.

Thermal Suite and Relaxation Area are only available when attending a booked treatment.
Spa treatments are available for adults over 18 years of age only.

Friday & Saturday extra €40 payable upon check-in.
Children aged 0-3 can stay for free sharing existing room types.
Children aged 4-12 can stay for an additional €20 per child per night sharing the room, subject to availability of room type.
The Hotel must be notified in advance if children are staying.
No cancellations or changes once booked.
