Part of what makes this fun for us is trying to expose people to things they wouldn't have done otherwise, like shows, skydiving, cooking classes, architectural tours, salon services or even teeth whitening.

How do I use my voucher?

So you've ordered a voucher, what happens now? Straight away, we'll send you a receipt. You'll then be sent an email containing your voucher code and full instructions on what to do next.
For instance, if you buy a restaurant offer, we'll include contact details to enable you to book your table. If you buy a product that requires delivery, we'll send you a link to the merchant's website where you can enter your code and delivery address.

General

Your voucher code is sent by email to the address used when registering your details with us. However, if the deal period has ended and you still haven't received it, you can also find it by logging into your account here:

Don't worry! When you redeem your code with the merchant fulfilling the deal you will be asked for this information.

An unsubscribe link can be found at the bottom of every daily deal email we send. Simply click the highlighted "Unsubscribe" link and you will be taken to your Preference Centre. Click "manage locations/unsubscribe" and you can choose which emails you wish to unsubscribe from.

You are able to amend your personal information at any time in the "My Account" section of your LivingSocial account which you can access here:

Card details are retained by our trusted payment processor, Braintree, the first time you make a purchase. You can amend your card details during the checkout of subsequent purchases.

Please check all of the following which should resolve your issue, if you are still having problems don't forget you can use PayPal to complete your order.

  1. Make sure the card is registered to your name and your registered address matches your card billing address, you can always enter a different delivery address once you redeem your voucher code. We only accept UK and Ireland issued cards
  2. If you are using the LivingSocial app or a mobile device, please check your connection.
  3. Try clearing your cache and cookies and make sure you are not using a bookmarked page.
Please note we only accept Visa and MasterCard issued credit and debit cards.

You will be sent an email with redemption instructions and your printable voucher(s).

Your voucher will be sent via email, to the email address registered on your LivingSocial account, on the date shown on your receipt. As the voucher is a PDF attachment it may be sent to your spam folder so please make sure you check this.

Next to each voucher is a "view voucher!" button which can be used to download the voucher. Please note if your voucher has expired you will no longer be able to see the 'view voucher' button.

Firstly make sure you have got a fully registered account on our website and are not just subscribed to our mailing list. This would have involved you choosing a password. If you are certain you have a registered account please reset your password here.

You can either exchange it for the product or service stated in the deal, redeem it towards the cost of another voucher, redeem it towards other goods at Direct Deals, or you can exchange it for Deal Credit, it's your call.

Each deal is different but the full instructions on what you need to do to get your products or services are always in the voucher itself and will involve passing the voucher code to the merchant who is supplying the products. Details of how to redeem your voucher can be seen before you buy in the Full Details of every deal. It's worth calling ahead to see if the merchant can accommodate you at your preferred time.

Please click on the link under "How to Redeem" on your voucher. Enter your code in the discount/voucher code box when prompted. This can be located on your voucher. The voucher code is case sensitive so please ensure that it is entered exactly as shown.
Please be aware that if you have purchased multiple vouchers then each code must be entered in a separate transaction.
If your code is still showing as invalid please consider the following factors

  • Make sure there is not a space either before or after the code
  • Where possible try opening the link in a different browser e.g. Firefox or Chrome
  • If you are using a mobile device please try on a desktop PC or Mac
Please note that your delivery address cannot be changed once you have redeemed.

We offer a no-quibble 14 day money back guarantee on all unredeemed vouchers (starting from the day after the day you receive your voucher) whereby if you originally paid in cash, you can receive a 100% cash or 100% Deal Credit or, if you paid using Deal Credit, you can receive a 100% Deal Credit.
Please bear in mind, cash refunds could take up to 10 days to process while Deal Credit is usually applied instantly, subject to qualifications. All refund requests must be made using this form. Please include the order number, the voucher code and, if you originally paid in cash, your preferred payment method. Refund requests received 15 days or more after the day after the day you received the voucher are considered on a case by case basis.

Just use the box on the purchase page of the voucher that you want to buy. If you redeem a voucher towards the cost of another voucher it will be of an amount equal to 100% of the purchase price of the original voucher (inc. p&p but excluding any marketing/promotional credit) if the purchase is made not more than 30 days after the date of issue of that voucher, or 50% of the purchase price of the original voucher (inc. p&p but excluding any marketing/promotional credit) if the purchase is made more than 30 days after the date of issue of that voucher but before the end of the voucher validity period.

Just use the 'Claim Credit' button on any deal page (towards the bottom left) to redeem your voucher for Deal Credit. Between 1 and 30 days after you receive your voucher you can exchange your unredeemed voucher in return for 100% Deal Credit. From 30 days after you receive your voucher and before it expires you can exchange for Deal Credit to the value of 50% of what you paid for the voucher.

Delivery timings are always laid out on the voucher you receive, and in the Full Details section of each deal. If you have redeemed properly and still not received the products after that delivery window has expired then contact the merchant directly with as much info as you can give them. If you're still having trouble then contact us.

Sadly not. Expiry dates are made very clear on the voucher itself, and they must be used before the expiry date passes.

All deals that appear on LivingSocial are vetted rigorously by a dedicated team to ensure that they are genuine offers from reliable merchants. Unfortunately sometimes things do get through that aren't up to the high standards that we set ourselves and we are continuously working on our processes and procedures to ensure that we continue to improve. In the first instance your complaint should be addressed to the supplying merchant directly who should be able to answer any concerns that you may have. If you are unable to reach a satisfactory conclusion with the merchant please contact us and we will be able to look into any concerns you may have.

You do not select your delivery address until you redeem your voucher code. This does not have to be the same as your billing address. We're sorry but once you have redeemed you are not able to change your delivery address. If you're looking for more help on this subject, please contact us.

If you have received your product and then subsequently want to return it, you will need to contact the merchant who supplied it to you directly.

Just click "buy now!" before the deal ends and before we sell out! We will email you a printable voucher that you can use for the deal in question (check the valid from and valid until dates).

All vouchers have an expiry date (also known as a "until/to" date). The participating merchant may have other restrictions which will be set out both in the Fine Print before you buy a deal and on the voucher itself. Often it is necessary to make a reservation with the participating business to use your voucher.

The contact details for the venue/merchant will be on the deal itself if you need to check specific dates and times. Products deals are all subject to availability.

If the merchant closes down and your voucher has not expired, we'll refund your money.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is taken back free of charge on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis. Waste batteries including rechargeable batteries are taken back free of charge. You are not obliged to make any purchase when returning old batteries. Each local authority must also accept household WEEE and small batteries free of charge at its recycling facilities. All WEEE and waste batteries must be recycled and should not be placed in any of your household wheelie bins. Make sure you always recycle all your old electrical goods and batteries. WEEE and waste batteries can also be returned to your local civic amenity site free of charge. How do I organise free takeback of my item?

We can collect WEEE items or waste batteries upon delivery of your new product or within 15 days of delivery of your new product. All you need to do is email us at weee@wowcher.co.uk with the following information including reference "WEEE" in the email subject:
